I would like to control the ventilation volume of our Zehnder Q600 unit through our KNX domotics system. This can be based on the sensor and system data available, most importantly occupancy, time, bathroom usage and CO2 levels.
Currently it’s only possible to use one of 4 presets: away, low, middle or high.
I would very much like this to be more granular especially when controlling the system based on CO2 levels. Currently switching from ‘low’ to ‘middle’ results in a noticable change in the house when it comes to installation sound level and ‘middle’ or ‘high’ can be much more ventilation than actually needed.
Currently the only way to achieve granular control is with the Zehnder Option Box and a device than generates a 0-10V signal. A simple API would be much less error prone, easier to maintain and more cost effective.
Exactly the same request here, also with a KNX installation. The granularity of the 4 presets is much too low to use with CO2 based control. The difference between the various presets is very noticable.
Using the option box is a rather expensive and very roundabout way to achieve this. An alternative is using the reverse engineered protocol of the ComfoConnect LAN C and constantly changing the value of the presets, but I’m not sure if that has an averse on the EEPROM which stores those settings.
